A very common question the team get at UKMSA is from students wanting help with their CVs. This is an important step in getting projects, prizes, intercalated degrees and, eventually, clinical posts.
To do this to a high standard takes time and knowledge of the individual, so we have made this a service for premium members.
Put your best foot forward
In order for you to get the most out of the clinic, we require you to submit the best possible first draft to the team.
If you are looking for a format, there are a number of drafts from the BMA available and a good open source article from the IJSO (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5673141/)
Submit to the team
Using the form to the right, submit what you've got by adding a URL that we can download your CV from (Google Drive, DropBox, etc., OneDrive) and write briefly about what you're applying for. Ideally, if you can keep your CV in word document form so that we can use the "review" function in order to annotate it.
Patience is a virtue
The team will have a read of you CV and get back to you with some feedback and, potentially, some further questions in order to help you refine your CV.
